Totemian Is Live in Surrey

Totemian R&D
Totemian Launches First Surrey Brandboard at Bell Pharmacy

We just installed our first Brandboard in Surrey — inside Bell Pharmacy on King George Blvd. It's one screen, but it marks something bigger: our place-based network now reaches into one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.

Why Surrey

Surrey isn't just another stop on the map. Sitting south of the Fraser River, it's one of Canada's fastest-growing cities, with population projections putting it on track to become Metro Vancouver's largest municipality within the next few years. New town centres, transit expansion, and steady commercial growth mean more people moving through Surrey's cafés, clinics, pharmacies, and grocery stores every day.

That's exactly where place-based media belongs. As Surrey grows, so does the need for advertising that meets people in the venues they actually visit — not just in their feed.

What's Actually on the Wall

A Totemian Brandboard is a professionally managed digital screen installed inside a real venue and connected to our network. Content is scheduled and updated remotely, and delivery is reported at the screen level — so advertisers know exactly where and when their message played, not just where it was planned to.

It's built for a different kind of attention than a roadway billboard. A Brandboard reaches people while they dwell — picking up a prescription, waiting for a coffee, browsing the aisles — rather than while they pass by at speed. Learn more about how Brandboards work.

What This Means for Advertisers

For advertisers already running campaigns elsewhere in our network, Surrey's first Brandboard opens the door to a market that's only getting bigger. For Surrey businesses, it's a way to show up in front of neighbours and regulars without competing with everything else in their feed. See how to plan a campaign.

What's Next

Bell Pharmacy is just the start. We're adding more Surrey venues to the network in the months ahead — one Brandboard, one venue, one neighborhood at a time.
